Hummelbird Projekt

Description

I purchased this unfinished project last year from an aircraft builder who had to stop due to health reasons. Since I already have another winter project, I would like to sell this one.

It is a complete (or 95% complete) kit of a 120kg Hummelbird aircraft. The fuselage, instrument panel, canopy, vertical and horizontal stabilizers have already been partially completed; the rest of the work is still needed, approximately 40% unfinished.

There are many parts included, including extra parts from Hummel or aircraft Spruce. The engine is a newly overhauled 2-cylinder 2-stroke (approximately 15 kg). As far as I can judge, everything is well-built and in good condition.

The following parts are included:
- All T4 aluminum sheet parts, material for engine mounts, Lexan
- Wheels, wheel suspension (for tailwheel or nosewheel configuration), brakes
- Throttle and choke cables, levers
- Propeller with hub
- Many cans of aircraft fasteners and rivets
- All flight instruments
- Aluminum fuel cap
- All construction drawings (approximately 40 pieces)
- The engine with starter, carburetor, exhaust manifolds, mufflers, and ignition
- Many pre-formed aluminum sheet parts 

You may still need some additional parts such as a fuel tank, radio, seat/belts, hoses, etc.

Since it is a 120kg aircraft, the certification process should be relatively straightforward.

According to the previous owner, over €20,000 has already been invested in parts. Now, you can have everything together for a third of the material costs.
