The Kitfox has been flying since its completion in 2009 with a provisional airworthiness certificate (VVZ) for flight testing. The VVZ has been renewed annually since then.
A noise protection inspection was successfully conducted by the Luftsportgerätebüro.
The aircraft is airworthy and was last inspected on July 5, 2023. The VVZ is valid until July 5, 2024. Only pilots named in the VVZ are allowed to fly the aircraft.
Furthermore, the aircraft may only be flown solo under the VVZ.
Total flight time: 562 takeoffs, 240 hours.
Rescue system GRS Galaxy inspected in January 2022, valid until February 2028.
The aircraft is located near Hameln, at the Bisperode-West glider airfield.
I am a UL pilot myself and have been flying it, but I lack the time to deal with the final certification process with the Luftsportgerätebüro.
I also lack the technical background, as the builder was my father.
Since I have very little time and fly too infrequently, owning a private aircraft is simply not worth it for me.
