Komplett Neu aufgebaute ikarus C42-B

Description

For sale: my airplane is now available for purchase. 

The aircraft has been completely dismantled and rebuilt. Originally, it was supposed to have floats and a variable pitch propeller, but unfortunately, German regulations made these modifications necessary. 

Prior to the overhaul, the plane had approximately 4800 hours of flight time. There are plenty of pictures available showcasing the transformation. 

The plane features a new, original Ikarus cover with only around 20 flight hours. The rescue system has been repacked and a new rocket installed. Additionally, a new mode S transponder and a 8.33 frequency radio have been installed. 

The avionics include an Avmap Artificial Horizon and Flydat data system. The gas system has been converted to a precision control throttle. The aircraft has also undergone a new paint job. 

Any parts that gave a negative impression have been replaced. The plane now comes with folding wings, a towing hitch, a Kiev propeller, and a LiFePo battery. 

Furthermore, winglets have been added to improve performance. The interior boasts leather upholstery with cushioned seats, ensuring comfort on long flights. 

To enhance visibility, the aircraft is equipped with landing lights and navigation lights. 

The engine, a 912 ULS, comes from a Europa Monowheel Experimental that I purchased from an airfield owner. It has approximately 770 hours and has received a complete service. 

The carburetor has new gaskets and jets, and all hoses have been replaced. An electrical fuel pump has also been installed, along with new oil, oil filter, and spark plugs.
