Description

Due to a change in aircraft preference, I am selling my reliable and faithful FK-9 airplane. For anyone looking to expand their experience with tailwheel flying, this plane is perfect. She is in great technical condition and runs very reliably.

Built in 1997, equipped with a Rotax 912 UL engine with 80 horsepower and 1685 hours of operation. It also includes a Transponder Mode S and an 8.33kHz (f.u.n.k.e) radio, as well as a Fuel-Con fuel flow meter (f.u.n.k.e.) and a BRS-5 rescue system installed in 2018. One of the unique qualities of this airplane is the aluminium fuel tanks (40L) with a convenient external refuelling port, which prevents any fuel smells from entering the cockpit. Additionally, a 15L auxiliary tank made of aluminium is available for installation, but has never been used.

This airplane can fly at a cruising speed of 140-150 km/h with a fuel consumption rate of approximately 14 litres per hour. Those looking to fly at a slower pace can lower the consumption rate to 9 litres per hour.

For those who prefer a more minimalist flying experience, the airplane can be flown without its doors, provided certain conditions are met as outlined in the manual. The wings are also relatively simple to fold, making it ideal for owners who want to transport it in a trailer, compact hangar, or limited parking space.

I have always kept this airplane hangared, and anyone interested in purchasing it should email me with their interest and leave a telephone number. I would be happy to return any calls to discuss it further.
