Description

Due to my upgrade to a Motorplane, I unfortunately have to part with my beautiful C42B. 😕
This stunning C42B was manufactured in 2010 and was originally delivered to Sweden. It was operated by a club there, which treated it like a motor plane, including regular maintenance. Two boxes full of maintenance records are available as proof. Although it hasn't been flown extensively, I personally imported it to Germany in 2021 and had it registered for civilian use. The process involved hiring a 40-ton truck to transport the aircraft safely on its own.

Considering its year of manufacture and hours of operation, the overall condition of the machine is exceptional and rare to find. As a trained light aircraft builder, I have taken care of the necessary maintenance and made the following investments in the aircraft:

- Installed a new BRS (Ballistic Recovery System) which is valid until May 2028 (canopy replaced).
- Both carburetors have been fully overhauled and synchronized.
- New NGK spark plugs and spark plug connectors have been fitted.
- Gearbox revision has been carried out by FRANZ Aircraft.
- Softstart has been retrofitted with yellow ignition boxes.
- A tow hook and carrier have been installed, although they have never been utilized.

The engine itself looks practically new, just as the rest of the aircraft does. It comes equipped with a 3-blade warp drive propeller, which allows for a comfortable cruising speed of 170km/h (at 5000 rpm). The maximum fuel consumption is 15 liters per hour.

I have been using the C42B for commuting between Germany and my second home in Romania in Herrmannstadt. However, I am now selling it as it lacks two seats and an autopilot, hence its classification as a EASA-Plane.

The aircraft is currently located in Cisnadie-Magura (LRCD) and can be viewed there or in Mainz-Finthen (EDFZ). If you are interested, you are welcome to visit Magura and take the plane with you. I am willing to negotiate the ferry costs as part of the price. Alternatively, we can split the ferry costs, and I can arrange for the machine to be transported back to Germany. However, please note that due to the limited space in hangars, we should carefully plan the logistics.

Now, let's talk about the price. I am initially asking for [insert price]. Although this may seem high for a 2010 C42B, it is justified given the exceptional overall condition of the nearly new aircraft. Furthermore, the price is negotiable, so feel free to make an offer!

The plane comes with a generous amount of accessories, including tires, hoses, documentation, and a complete set of Clouddancer Uncuttable Covers, which can be purchased separately.

If you have any inquiries or require further information, please feel free to contact me via email, and we can arrange a convenient time to discuss over the phone.
