The flight characteristics are equivalent to a WT9. Cruising speed of 235km/h, VNE 260km/h.
This aircraft was designed by Philip Steinbach following the Extra 300. As a result, its flight performance is impressive. Unfortunately, only 69 units were built as the company, although top in technology, faced economic challenges. However, spare parts are not an issue, and the original production's aircraft mechanic is still available (the missing nose wheel pant is currently being replaced).
Affordable UL aircraft capable of comfortable long-distance flights above 200 km/h are rare in the market. Currently, a German Impulse owner is working on the 600 kg upgrade. There is also a turbine version available.
I am reluctantly selling my excellent aircraft as I will no longer hold a valid medical certificate starting from January 2024.
