FOR SALE: COAVIO DF2000 TOP (built in 2008)

I am pleased to offer for sale a well-maintained COAVIO DF2000 TOP, with a total of 480 hours since new on the airframe, engine, and propeller. This aircraft features a powerful Rotax ULS 100 HP engine, which has been meticulously maintained by authorized ROTAX technicians and comes with all documented records.

The propeller on this DF2000 TOP is a WarpDrive PVT with an HPL carbon fiber three-blade hub, offering exceptional durability and performance. It is worth noting that this propeller does not have a scheduled TBO and was inspected in November 2023, with the addition of new armor tape for added protection.

In terms of upgrades and replacements, the electrical units were replaced in 2017, while the carburetor was professionally replaced in 2018, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Additionally, all rubber parts, including oil, fuel, and water tubes, as well as other rubber components, were replaced in 2020.

Furthermore, the aircraft underwent a comprehensive 1000-hour overhaul at the COAVIO headquarters. This preemptive maintenance included the replacement of the front wheel stem, main wheel attachments, alignment, water radiator, silent blocks, and the addition of inspection windows for easier monitoring of flight control linkages and wing mounting. Additionally, the brake disks were recently inspected and bled.

The COAVIO DF2000 TOP features a high-quality CrMo4130 steel airframe with insulated fuel and oil tubes, as well as a flame-retardant bulkhead. The aircraft is primarily constructed from Avional 2017 T4 and 2024 T3 aluminum, with ailerons and elevator made from 6061 T6 aluminum for exceptional strength and durability. All structural joints are extensively riveted and glued, ensuring a secure structure. Non-structural joints are secured with pull rivets, and all welds are of the TIG type. The aircraft is equipped with two explosion-proof tanks, providing a total fuel capacity of 81L.

Comfort and convenience features of the DF2000 TOP include an oversized oil radiator, electric trim on the stabilizer, cabin heating, luxurious alcantara seats, and tinted windows. The aircraft has been meticulously maintained by an aeronautical engineer, with ribs and hinges treated with professional protective and anticorrosive oil.

Safety is paramount with this aircraft, as it is equipped with a Galaxy GRS-5/560 ballistic parachute, which has been recently overhauled and is valid until 2027. The aircraft also features a glossy white paint job with blue gradient motifs, giving it a sophisticated and sleek appearance.

Inside the cockpit, you will find a range of essential instruments and equipment, including an airspeed indicator, altimeter, slip indicator, variometer, tachometer, hour meter, ICOM A200 radio, electric fuel pump, oil temperature gauge, trim indication, electric flaps with Flybox control, CHT temperatures, fuel pressure gauge, oil pressure gauge, fuel quantity indicators, voltmeter, fuses, compass, strobe lights, navigation lights, landing light, interior light, instrument light, and a Garmin Aera 500 and Garmin Aera 650 mount. An added convenience is the presence of a 12V charger socket for any electronic devices.

For added safety, the aircraft includes adjustable four-point safety belts, a central steel console with throttle and brakes, as well as a fire extinguisher and first aid kit conveniently located in the luggage compartment behind the seats. Dual controls are also available, providing flexibility for training purposes.

Included with the aircraft is an electric towing tractor with a tow bar, making moving and handling the DF2000 TOP a breeze. The aircraft has always been stored in a hangar, ensuring maximum protection from the elements.

I am reluctantly selling this DF2000 TOP due to a job relocation abroad. Private hangar space is available in the Viareggio/Forte dei Marmi area, where the aircraft can be viewed.
